Why 4 panels?

Utah law lets you use up to 1,200W, so you might think three 415W panels is perfect. But 415W is under laboratory conditions. In real world conditions, all solar panels produce ~70% of what the sticker says. 4 panels at 415W will put you right at the 1,200W limit for as much of the day as possible and allow you to capture the maximum savings the law allows.
